Kingdom Programs: Every Generation Ministries

God has called Every Generation Ministries (EGM) to develop national ministry teams in 38 countries where over 75% of the world’s children live. National ministry teams provide innovative leadership development training programs and culturally-relevant Bible teaching resources to children’s workers serving in local churches, so that children will experience transformation in Christ through His Church.

Foundational Principles

All program and resource content is built from the five qualities found in Deuteronomy 6:5-9, Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.

  • Relationship (Deuteronomy 6:5-6)

As children’s workers love God; that love flows through them to the children. Relationship is the foundation for their ministry.

  • Experience (Deuteronomy 6:7)

Teaching should be intertwined with what children experience every day.

  • Bible Truth (Deuteronomy 6:7)

The truth of scripture is effectively taught when the Bible itself is studied, read and taught to children.

  • Discussion (Deuteronomy 6:7)

Through an open and honest dialogue, workers help children understand Scripture as more than a story, by discussing how the Bible applies to them individually and personally.

  • Response (Deuteronomy 6:8-9)

The Word of God affects what a child does with his or her hands and mind. Workers give children practical opportunities to respond to the Word of God.

Doing the Lord’s Work

EGM’s current projects include:

  • Crucible Project

The Crucible Project is an initiative designed to evaluate EGM’s efforts and to ensure effectiveness.

  • Internet Curriculum

The overall goal of the Internet Curriculum project is to increase EGM’s impact by a factor of ten in three years. Websites will be created that will serve over 100,000 children’s workers in 34,000 local churches, in seven languages. Each site will include training videos, Bible teaching materials and a forum to create an online community for the children’s workers.

  • Ministry Toolbox

The Ministry Toolbox features development programs designed to help national ministries support children's workers serving in churches.

  • Titus Project

The Titus Project encourages national Christian communities to take ownership of and support their national ministry teams. The simple goal is to make the operational costs of each National Ministry Team fully funded, from within the country, in three years.
