Teen Challenge of Colorado Springs (TCCS) is a featured WaterStone Kingdom Program. TCCS acts to provide youth, adults, and families with an effective and comprehensive Christian faith-based solution to life-controlling drug and alcohol problems in order to become productive members of society. By applying biblical principles, TCCS endeavors to help people become mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted physically well, and spiritually alive.
More specifically, TCCS is a nonprofit Christian Academy being established to minister, disciple and educate boys ages 13-17 with behavioral issues. While the local facility is in the developmental stages, TCCS has available placement with other Teen Challenge facilities, but can immediately provide in-office crisis and intervention counseling, therapy services and recovery programs for both adults, teens and families.
TCCS’s approved program provides counseling, crisis intervention and therapy for people dealing with behavior disorders, life controlling issues and addiction behavior disorders. All counseling operates off of the principle that Jesus Christ has a purpose and a plan for each individual's life.
In the future, TCCS’s vision and goals include:
- A viable outreach program for persons in the community who have life-controlling problems
- A residential program for boys and their families who want to get better. And they will.
- An educational program for boys that produces academic excellence for career sustainability.
- A Board of Directors and Executive Director who is bold and aggressive in executing vision.
Help TCCS fulfill their vision by making a gift from your WaterStone Giving Fund.
