WaterStone kicked off the new year in Phoenix, Arizona, where 26 advisors, CPAs, estate planners, attorneys and ministry leaders gathered for the WaterStone Winter 2015 Giving Academy. The Academy’s purpose was to honor God by continuing to build a community of giving in the Phoenix area. By sharing successful case studies featuring the tax, financial, and spiritual benefits of intentional giving, Academy attendees encouraged one another and modeled the Biblical idea that we are called to be good stewards of our client relationships.
Topics such as “Why Give?,” “Gifts of Appreciated Commercial Real Estate with a Variable Income Solution,” “Giving Engine: Fuel Your Client’s Giving,” and group exercises helped attendees acquire expertise in new giving services and build upon best practices.
Our time together was a blessing, serving as a reminder of our mission to come alongside givers to implement the strategies which drive intentional giving, while sharing in the joy of generosity.
Join us in August for our 2015 WaterStone Giving Academy in Colorado Springs. This two day event will cover topics such as “Gifts of Business Ownership Interests” and “Wealth Management and Giving: Marketing to your Best Clients.” Mark your calendars and reserve your spot today.
Looking forward to seeing you in August!
“The WaterStone Giving Academy surfaced new ideas, polished the talking points of better-known strategies and affirmed the reason why giving matters to clients and our firm.” – Caleb Huftalin, CFP®
