WaterStone is pleased to announce that Al Childs has joined WaterStone as a key member of the Giving Strategies team.
Al serves as WaterStone’s Vice President of Generosity where he connects givers, professional advisors and nonprofit organizations with the innovative giving strategies and expertise of WaterStone. Based in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, Al’s mission is to help release more financial resources to those charities, churches, ministries and nonprofits that are building the Kingdom.
Al earned a B.B.A. in Finance at Baylor University and has four decades of experience in the wealth management and banking industries, most recently as Comerica Bank’s Senior Vice President and North Texas Regional Manager for Wealth Management.
Al is actively involved in his community having served as Treasurer and Chairman of the Board for the Dallas area Habitat for Humanity. Al also has served on the Advisory Board of Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business and is a deacon at his local church.
Al and his wife have two grown sons and four grandchildren.
