DOUG KIESEWETTER, Chairman of the Board
Doug Kiesewetter, Chairman of the Board, is CEO of Cogency Power, Inc. in Colorado. Throughout his career he has excelled in entrepreneurial and business leadership guiding projects from inception to sale.
Mr. Kiesewetter co-founded WaterStone in 1980. He has faithfully served as Chairman and Board Member. He holds an MBA, is a CPA, is a Certified Financial Planner and is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. Doug and his wife, Deborah, reside in Colorado, have two grown children, and are active in a broad variety of charitable interests.
OS GUINNESS, Ph.D.
Os Guinness, Ph.D. is an author and social critic. Great-great-great grandson of Arthur Guinness, the Dublin brewer, he was born in China in World War II where his parents were medical missionaries. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of London and his D.Phil in the social sciences from Oriel College, Oxford. Dr. Guinness has written or edited more than thirty books, including The Call, Time for Truth, Unspeakable, A Free People’s Suicide, and The Global Public Square. His latest book, Last Call for Liberty: How America’s Genius for Freedom Has Become Its Greatest Threat, was published in 2018. He has spoken at many of the world’s major universities, and spoken widely to political and business conferences across the world. He lives with his wife Jenny in the Washington DC area.
KEN HARRISON
Ken Harrison serves as WaterStone’s Chief Executive Officer. His mission is to provide executive leadership and strategic direction to the ministry while inspiring WaterStone’s entire community of givers, advisors, nonprofits, churches, and business leaders. Mr. Harrison has extensive leadership experience in national and international commercial real estate, professional software solutions, entrepreneurial success, executive leadership, and a commitment to Kingdom service.
An author and corporate speaker, Mr. Harrison travels the country in his role as Chairman of the Board for Promise Keepers. He is a Colson Fellow and currently serves on the boards of Colorado Uplift and Urban Youth Ministries. Ken and his wife, Elliette, have three grown children and reside in Colorado.
RICHARD A. LAVINSKI, CPA
Richard A. Lavinski, CPA, is Secretary of the Board of Directors at WaterStone. During his career he has held various entrepreneurial roles. He currently serves as co-founder of E57 Partners in Dallas, a firm which specializes in professional accounting, human resources, technology, executive search, and strategic business advisory services.
Mr. Lavinski holds an MBA with a concentration in Accounting and Taxation. His Bachelor’s degree is in Economics from The University of Chicago. Rich and his wife, Nancy, live in Texas.
ALAN BROWN, J.D.
Alan Brown, J.D. has been a licensed attorney in Texas for over 25 years with a focus on estate planning and corporate transactions. He serves as President and General Counsel for Petroleum Strategies, a qualified intermediary that has facilitated over $47 billion of like kind exchange transactions. He previously served as CEO of Carbon Creek Energy.
Mr. Brown holds an accounting degree from Abilene Christian University and a Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law. Alan and his wife, Holly, have five children and one grandchild and live in Texas.
GREGORY R. VIGIL
Gregory R. Vigil has more than 30 years of oil and gas industry experience. Mr. Vigil received his petroleum engineering degree from the Colorado School of Mines. He is founder and manager of Castle Rock Resources. Mr. Vigil was instrumental in founding and currently provides leadership to the Arma Dei Academy in Colorado. He serves on the Boards of several charitable organizations. Greg and his wife, Sandra, have four children and live in Colorado.
KIM COBB, MBA
Kim Cobb is a Partner and Managing Director at Little gg Capital in Corsicana, Texas. Little GG Capital is a privately held family investment firm focused on and engaged in a broad range of investment activities. They offer dedicated capital which allows them the flexibility to invest in a wide variety of asset classes.
Ms. Cobb also leads Encompass Business Solutions as a single source for customized business resources and professional services. They serve as an outsourcing solution for finance, accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, compliance, state and local tax, and administration. Kim, and her husband Darrell, have two adult children and live in Texas.
KITTIE WATSON, Ph.D.
Kittie Watson, Ph.D., is the President and Founder of Innolect Inc., an organizational effectiveness consulting firm. As an executive leadership coach and specialist in team communication, Dr. Watson works with the leadership teams of Fortune 500 companies throughout the United States. As a former Department Chair and tenured faculty member at Tulane University, she received numerous national and international teaching and research awards. She holds degrees with honors from Georgia, Auburn, and Louisiana State Universities. Kittie resides in South Carolina.
THOMAS (TIM) LYLES, J.D.
Thomas (Tim) Lyles, J.D. is President of MedCare Holdings. He served previously as President of Mission City Management, Inc. and MedCare Investment Funds. He is a graduate of Texas A & M University and received his J.D., from SMU School of Law. In addition, Mr. Lyles is a Certified Public Accountant and has written material for the Texas State Bar and has been a speaker for the State Bar of Texas and the Dallas Bar. Tim is a father to nine children and he and his wife, Laura, live in Texas.
JOEL SANDERS
Joel Sanders works in Asset Management for Hamann Property Management. He previously served as a college and Youth Pastor for All Peoples Church in Southern California. Mr. Sanders received his degree in Mechanical Engineering from Baylor University. Raised in Texas, Joel and his wife, Dana, have four children and reside in California.
BOB G. BROWN, MBA
Bob G. Brown, MBA, is a long time Board Member of Word of Life Fellowship (WOL), after serving for many years as an Executive Vice President. Mr. Brown joined WOL in 1995 following nearly 30 years in various finance and administrative positions with Marathon Oil Company. He has an MBA from Bowling Green State University. He and his wife, Sue, share their time between New York and Florida. Bob and Sue are very active in the teen youth program at their church, where he is a deacon and teaches Sunday School.
